Westside Gunn teams up with Keisha Plum and Tiona D. on "KARL."
The death of Karl Lagerfeld didn't only hit the fashion world but the music community as well. Lagerfeld, although a controversial figure, had a tight relationship with hip-hop and had his own influence on the direction of fashion in hip-hop. Pharrell, Swizz Beatz, MadeinTYO, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and many others paid homage to the late fashion designer on social media. Today, Westside Gunn comes through with a track dedicated Lagerfeld.
Westside Gunn dedicates his latest track to Karl Lagerfeld. The track, aptly titled, "KARL," was produced by Roc Marciano while he enlists Keisha Plum and Tiona D. to assist him. The rapper's smooth flow floats over the soulful production which opens up with a voice clip of a news anchor praising Lagerfeld for his accomplishments in fashion.
